A cabin charter sailing holiday from Skärhamn through the Bohuslän archipelago on Sweden's west coast, with granite islands, fishing villages and quiet anchorages along the way.
The cruise departs from Skärhamn, a lively fishing harbor on the island of Tjörn, north of Gothenburg, and explores the Bohuslän coast before returning to the same harbor at the end of the week. The sailing area is a maze of granite islands, skerries and narrow sounds, known for clear light, sheltered passages and some of the most beautiful coastal scenery in Scandinavia.
Navigation is handled by the professional crew, which knows the narrow passages well, so guests can relax on deck, watch the coastline slip by or take part in sailing at their own level. The route follows wind, sea state and the mood of the group, and no two weeks look exactly alike.
Typical stops include Marstrand, a historic sailing town with a hilltop fortress and a busy waterfront, and Käringön, a tiny car-free island of red and white wooden houses. Further north, the Koster Islands offer open landscapes, quiet beaches and the chance to see seals, while the remote Väderöarna archipelago, at the edge of the open sea, is among the wildest places on the coast. The Pater Noster lighthouse area adds a taste of the outer archipelago.
The exact route and overnight harbors are decided day by day depending on weather and wind. Sailing days are kept at a relaxed pace, with time for a swim from the boat, lunch in a sheltered bay and an afternoon arrival in an island community.
Evenings are spent in harbor villages, with local seafood, a stroll among the boathouses and long summer light, before returning to the boat for the night.

Day1
Boarding in Skärhamn
Guests join the boat in Skärhamn and settle into their cabins. A safety briefing and a walkthrough of the week's plans follow, and the first evening is spent in the harbor, with time to explore the village and its waterfront.
Day2
Skärhamn to Marstrand
The first sailing leg heads south through the sheltered waters between the islands to Marstrand, with a lunch and swim stop in a quiet bay on the way. The afternoon arrival is in Marstrand, a historic sailing town with a fortress on the hill and a lively harbor for the evening.
Day3
Marstrand to Käringön
The route turns north, passing the outer islands near the Pater Noster lighthouse, before reaching Käringön. The small island, with its wooden houses and narrow lanes, is a classic west coast harbor and a pleasant place to spend the evening.
Day4
Käringön to the Koster Islands
A longer leg continues north to the Koster Islands, a protected archipelago of open meadows, beaches and rocky shores, known for its seals and bird life. The evening is spent in one of the island harbors.
Day5
Koster to Väderöarna
Weather permitting, the sail continues out to the Väderöarna, a remote group of bare granite islands at the edge of the open sea. If conditions are not suitable, the day is spent among the sheltered islands and sounds closer to the coast, with an evening in a small harbor.
Day6
Return to Skärhamn
The final leg heads back south towards Skärhamn, with a last swim and lunch at anchor along the way. A farewell dinner ashore closes the week, with the last night on board in the harbor, and disembarkation takes place the following morning.

A spacious, comfortable cruising monohull with a wide cockpit, a fold-out bathing platform and bright interiors, made for easy days under sail and long evenings on deck.
Life on board revolves around the generous cockpit, where lift-and-lower tables turn the stern into a dining room for long, social meals. The bathing platform folds out for swimming straight from the boat and carries a grill, so every anchorage becomes a private beach club.
Inside, the saloon is modern and bright, with large windows, clever storage and a layout that keeps the galley and the dining area close together. Air conditioning in the saloon and in the cabins, together with a generator, makes warm summer nights easy to enjoy.
Below deck there are four double guest cabins with three shower toilets, plus separate cabins reserved for the crew. The four guest cabins offer eight berths in total.
Under sail the boat is stable, forgiving and fun. The extra wide hull gives a steady ride, while the self-tacking jib, electric winches and twin steering wheels keep manoeuvres simple, so no previous sailing experience is needed to enjoy a week on board.
