Your sailing trip
A circular sailing holiday from Sant Antoni de Portmany exploring Ibiza's western coves, the natural reserve of Es Vedrà, the turquoise beaches of Formentera and the historic harbor of Eivissa.
The cruise departs from Sant Antoni de Portmany on the western coast of Ibiza and follows a circular route south and east around the island before crossing to Formentera and returning north through Eivissa and the Saline nature reserve. Daily sailing distances stay short, leaving most of each day free for swimming, time at anchor and exploration ashore.
Navigation along the western and southern coast of Ibiza stays close to the cliffs, with a sequence of sheltered coves best reached from the water. Cala Bassa, Cala Conta and Cala Vedella open the week with turquoise water and sandy seabeds typical of Ibiza's western shore, while the natural reserve around Es Vedrà, the dramatic limestone island rising from the sea off the southwest coast, provides one of the most visually striking anchorages in the Balearics.
Formentera, the smallest inhabited island in the archipelago, brings a marked change of atmosphere. The island is known above all for the quality of its water, particularly around Ses Illetes, where the shallow sandy lagoon produces a pale turquoise color that holds even in bright midday sun. Cala Saona on the western side and the area around the Migjorn beach add further variety before the tour of the island continues toward the Mola lighthouse and the small harbor of Es Calò.
Eivissa, known in Spanish as Ibiza Town, anchors the cultural dimension of the week. The arrival near the walls of Dalt Vila, the UNESCO-listed fortified upper city, is one of the most recognizable harbor approaches in the western Mediterranean. The Saline nature reserve on the island's southern coast closes the circuit with a different character, combining a working salt production landscape with some of the clearest and most visited beach water on the island.
Days follow a natural rhythm of morning departures, midday swimming stops and afternoon arrivals that leave time to explore ashore before the evening.

The cockpit on this model is noticeably larger than most catamarans of the same length, turning the outdoor social space into the real heart of life on board.
The design prioritizes outdoor living, with a cockpit that extends further forward than typical for a forty-foot catamaran, protected overhead by a rigid bimini that keeps the space comfortable in sun and light rain without closing it in. Twin helm stations, one on each hull stern, keep the helm connected to the cockpit rather than isolated above it.
The saloon stays bright and well ventilated through panoramic windows, with the galley positioned at the aft bulkhead so the cook can stay in contact with the cockpit through a large sliding window rather than working in a closed space. Below deck, cabins are fitted into the hulls with queen-size athwartships berths, and the layout is available either in a four-cabin charter configuration or a three-cabin owner version with a larger suite in one hull.
A one-piece trampoline runs between the bows, well suited to relaxing underway or watching the coastline from a low, close-to-the-water perspective.
The exact year and configuration of the boat assigned will be confirmed before departure, with comfort and layout kept consistent across similar vessels in the fleet.

Pack smart for your yacht charter: choose a soft bag instead of a hard suitcase, bring lightweight layers, reef-safe sunscreen, and non-slip shoes for onboard use. A couple of swimsuits and motion sickness remedies can also make a big difference. Each boat has limited storage, so pack light, but wisely! Need help building the perfect list? Read our full guide: What to pack in a suitcase for a yacht charter
Start your day with a swim in a quiet bay, sail to hidden beaches or seaside villages, and enjoy a slow lunch on deck. Afternoons mean snorkeling, sunbathing, or exploring ashore. As the sun sets, your boat anchors in a scenic cove or near a harbor, ready for a relaxed dinner and a night under the stars. Curious about the full experience? Discover more in our guide: What's a typical day like on a sailing holiday?
On skipper-only charters, guests usually share cooking and cleaning duties, think salads, pasta, and good teamwork. If there's a hostess, light meals and tidying are included, but it's still a casual, collaborative vibe. On fully crewed yachts, you'll enjoy full service with a chef and crew managing everything. Want to know what's included in your setup? Read the full guide: Who takes care of cooking and cleaning on a sailing charter?
Summer sailing holidays rarely face major weather issues, but when the sea gets rough, skippers adjust the route for your safety. Expect protected bays, marina stops, or a change in plan. These moments often lead to unexpected gems: local towns to explore, time to relax on board, or cozy dinners ashore. Curious about how crews handle these changes?
