Seize the opportunity to sail on our luxury Gulet cruising along one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline of the Mediterranean, the Amalfi Coast
Onboard our very comfortable gulet we set sail to discover the Amalfi Coast, one of the most popular tourist attractions of Italy which have enchanted travelers from all over the world. Art and tradition characterize the various towns perched along the rocky coastline, surrounded by terraced hillsides steeped in vineyards, citrus, and olive groves. Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello are to name but a few of the places we visit along the way in this compelling journey through art, nature, and culture.
By foot, we enjoy numerous beautiful villages embedded in the mountain overlooking the sea, in areas where nature is almost untouched. Back on the boat, the cuisine is inspired by ancient recipes from the nearby fishing villages. The local specialties are the fresh fish of the day, pasta and local cheeses, etc, completed by seasonal vegetables and all the aromas of the Mediterranean maquis.

Itinerary
Day
1
Castellammare di Stabia
Arrival in Naples. Make your own way (allow approximately 1hr) to the town Castellammare di Stabia, an ancient spa town at the foot of Vesuvius, overlooking the Bay of Naples. From 18.00 you can board the gulet and check into your cabins. Gulet is moored at “Marina di Stabia” a private port located 2 km away from the centre of Castellammare di Stabia. At 19.00 is the welcome meeting (including a complimentary cocktail) with your guide who will brief you on the itinerary for the week. Dinner and overnight on board the gulet in the port of “Marina di Stabia”

Pompei
In the morning transfer by private minibus to Pompeii, the largest open-air archaeological site in the world, where it is possible to visit an authentic Roman city buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79AD, almost 2000 years ago. You can explore at your own pace and have free time for lunch. In the afternoon we return to Castellammare and set sail for the town of Sorrento, perched on a tophus hill, with beautiful terraces overlooking the sea. Dinner and overnight on board, in roadstead at Sorrento.

Sorrento and Punta Campanella (3hrs walking, ascent/descent 400m - 400m)
The morning is free for you to visit Sorrento at your own leisure. We then transfer public bus to the small town of Termini where we begin our trekking towards the protected area of Punta Campanella, at the tip of the peninsula, looking out to the Island of Capri. Dinner and overnight on board the gulet in roadstead at Marina del Cantone, a small town boasting beautiful beaches and unspoilt waters, inside the Marine Reserve of Punta Campanella.

Valle dei Mulini and Ravello (3hrs walking, ascent/descent: 350m – 350m)
With our gulet, we follow the Costa delle Sirene (literally “Coast of the Mermaids”) in the direction of Amalfi, a small village nestled between Mount Lattari and the sea, characterised by the famous cathedral dominating the old town. In the afternoon our walking excursion takes us into the Valle dei Mulini (or “Valley of the Mills”), reaching the town of Ravello at a height of 350m. Free time to visit Ravello with optional visits to the Villas of Cimbrone and Rufolo. We continue to the small village of Atrani before returning to Amalfi. Dinner and overnight on board the gulet, in the harbour of Amalfi.

Amalfi and Fiordo di Furore (3hrs walking, descent: – 650 m)
A beautiful day discovering the colourful Fiordo di Furore. After a transfer by public bus, we set off from the foot of the plains of Agerola (650m), descending a steep slope that leads us to a beautiful bay wedged between the cliffs and the sea, where we find the tiny village of Furore. In the afternoon we sail along the coastline towards the Emerald Cave (“Grotta dello Smeraldo”), which takes its name from the stunning colours created by the water reflecting the light filtering through the rocks. Free time for visiting Amalfi before dinner and overnight on board in roadstead at Amalfi.

Positano – Walk of the Gods (4hrs walking descent: – 650m)
Transfer by public bus to Agerola to enjoy the famous “Walk of the Gods”, an ancient mule track that connected Agerola to Positano. Here you have spectacular panoramic views of the Amalfi Coast. In the afternoon free time in Positano for shopping, sunbathing or swimming in the sea before we head by boat to Capri. Dinner and overnight on the gulet in roadstead in Capri.

Capri (3hrs walking, ascent/descent 300m – 300m)
During today’s hike we are surrounded by nature as we set off to discover the Arco Naturale, Grotta di Matromania and the Terrazza di Tragara. From the clifftop you can enjoy fantastic views over the Bay of Naples, dominated by Vesuvius. In the afternoon, free time for shopping and visiting the historical centre of Capri. We then set sail for Castellammare di Stabia. Dinner and overnight on board, in the port of Castellammare. The following day, after breakfast, make your own way to Naples airport or train station. Note: 1) The itinerary provided should be read as an indication. The guide and commander of the gulet reserve the right to change the itinerary in the case of adverse weather conditions. If weather conditions are not conductive to sailing, an alternative group itinerary will be proposed by your guide, however should you wish to do anything extra (beyond the amended program) the cost for this would be at the client’s own expenses. No refund is given in case of cancellation or changes from the above itinerary. 2) During the nights the gulet will be docked in the port during 3 nights. The other 4 nights the gulet will stay anchored in roadstead. The roadstead, is an enclosed area outside the harbour offering a shelter from winds and currents, where the gulet can lie at anchor. Exclusively in exceptional cases (unfavourable meteo and sea condition) for safety reason, the gulet can return into the port. In this case the clients will be asked to pay the relative price to stay in the port. This amount, variable from port to port, will be divided among the participants and will be paid directly on site (approximately 20/50 € per person per night)

Pastel colour upholstery, Positano ceramics, wood gratings, embroidered and personalized linen made of flax and cotton, brass lamps and woven mats: dexterous local artisans worked to make each detail of the vessel unique and refined.
The prow of the ship is destined for underwater diving activities. The central area is a solarium with comfortably cushioned sunbeds. The stern contains the wheelhouse as well as a table covered with a roll-up shade which can seat up to 14 people. Near the boom, there is another comfortable cushioned area for relaxing.
