Your sailing trip
Combine guided coastal hikes with gulet sailing along the Amalfi Coast, from the ruins of Pompeii to panoramic trails above Positano, Ravello and Capri.
This cruise follows the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento Peninsula, combining maritime navigation between anchorages with day hikes that lead well above the waterline, onto the terraced hillsides and panoramic trails that line the coast. Sailing and walking alternate by day, with most nights spent either moored in a harbor or at anchor in a sheltered roadstead just offshore.
Much of the route stays close to shore, moving between sheltered bays and small harbors rather than open crossings, with the gulet often lying at anchor in a roadstead, a stretch of water outside a harbor offering protection from wind and currents, while guests spend the day ashore on foot.
The coastline ranges from the volcanic backdrop of Vesuvius near Pompeii and Castellammare di Stabia to the dramatic limestone cliffs of the Amalfi Coast, where mule tracks like the Walk of the Gods trace high above Positano, and the Fiordo di Furore cuts a narrow inlet between sheer rock walls. Capri adds a different character again, with the Arco Naturale and the Grotta di Matromania carved into its eastern coast.
History runs through almost every stop, from the buried Roman city of Pompeii to the cathedral towns of Amalfi and Ravello, and the gardens of Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo above the sea. Atrani, Sorrento and the small fishing village of Marina del Cantone round out a route built as much around walking through history as sailing past it.
Life on board follows the rhythm of the hikes, breakfast before a morning ashore, lunch usually taken independently in a village along the trail, and dinner back on the gulet drawing on the cooking traditions of the nearby fishing communities, with fresh fish, pasta, local cheeses and seasonal vegetables typical of the Mediterranean table.

Yacht - Gulet
A traditional Turkish gulet built entirely in mahogany and iroko brings together craftsmanship, design and quality materials in a way few charter vessels can match. Pastel upholstery, hand-painted Positano ceramics, embroidered linen and cotton, brass lamps and rope-woven mats turn every corner of the boat into a refined and distinctly Mediterranean living space.
This Turkish gulet is the result of local artisans working to make every detail unique and refined, combining the warmth of traditional materials with a level of finish more commonly associated with custom-built yachts. The deck layout is organized into clearly defined zones: a forward area dedicated to watersports and diving activities, a central deck with a sunbathing platform and cushioned seating, and an aft area with the helm station and a table seating twelve guests, shaded by a roll-out awning across the boom and surrounded by cushioned bench seating.
Below deck, six guest cabins, four with twin beds and two with double beds, each include a private ensuite bathroom, accommodating up to twelve guests in total. The combination of pastel-toned upholstery, embroidered linens, brass fittings and woven rope detailing throughout the interior creates an atmosphere that feels distinctly handcrafted rather than mass produced.
A full crew, including a captain, sailor, cook and hostess, remains available throughout the cruise to manage navigation, meals and daily service, allowing guests to focus entirely on the experience of being at sea. Onboard leisure equipment includes a tender for excursions ashore, canoes, inflatable mats, entertainment systems and fishing and water games equipment for use during anchorage stops.
The exact cabin configuration will be confirmed before departure while maintaining the same standard of onboard comfort and craftsmanship.

Travel organizer tips
Pack smart for your yacht charter: choose a soft bag instead of a hard suitcase, bring lightweight layers, reef-safe sunscreen, and non-slip shoes for onboard use. A couple of swimsuits and motion sickness remedies can also make a big difference. Each boat has limited storage, so pack light, but wisely! Need help building the perfect list? Start your day with a swim in a quiet bay, sail to hidden beaches or seaside villages, and enjoy a slow lunch on deck. Afternoons mean snorkeling, sunbathing, or exploring ashore. As the sun sets, your boat anchors in a scenic cove or near a harbor, ready for a relaxed dinner and a night under the stars. Curious about the full experience? Discover more in our guide: What's a typical day like on a sailing holiday?
On skipper-only charters, guests usually share cooking and cleaning duties, think salads, pasta, and good teamwork. If there's a hostess, light meals and tidying are included, but it's still a casual, collaborative vibe. On fully crewed yachts, you'll enjoy full service with a chef and crew managing everything. Want to know what's included in your setup? Read the full guide: Who takes care of cooking and cleaning on a sailing charter?
Summer sailing holidays rarely face major weather issues, but when the sea gets rough, skippers adjust the route for your safety. Expect protected bays, marina stops, or a change in plan. These moments often lead to unexpected gems: local towns to explore, time to relax on board, or cozy dinners ashore. Curious about how crews handle these changes?
