A holiday in the sign of adventure to admire this wonderful land, in Gulet and in the desert.

On this Itinerary Onboard on Caicco and Experienced Skipper we Arrival in Tunis, transfer to Bizerte and we start to live the best experience between the ocean and the ancient desert check our day by day section for imagine our travels. 

 

 

The program includes the full board treatment for the boat tour excluding the first dinner, lunches are not included in the desert program

Itinerary

Day 1
Saturday
Arrival in Tunis, transfer to Bizerte welcome cocktail, presentation of the crew and accommodation in the cabins, dinner free overnight in port
Day 2
Sunday
After breakfast, we begin our journey south, stop at Pilau Island, for lunch, navigation to port flour, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3
Monday
Coastal navigation along the beaches of L'Ariana, lunch stop, we continue the navigation with direction Ghammart known tourist place, we will stop in port for city visit, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4
Tuesday
Resume navigation in the Gulf of Tunis to stop in front of the famous and ancient city of Carthage for lunch, resume navigation to La Goulette, arrival at 16.00 transfer to the airport to reach Djerba arrival and overnight at Hotel
Day 5
Wednesday
Departure from Jerba crossing the Roman bridge that connects the island with the continent. Continue to Tataouine and stop in a pastry shop to taste the traditional desserts of the region called the "gazzella horns". Continuation to the rocky mountains, the heart of the nomadic territory, visit of Ksar ouled el Sultan one of the most important and fascinating ksour Berbers (unique structures for the conservation of various products) continuation for ksar Ezhara traditional Bedouin village with its ksur up to Douiret , to have lunch in a restaurant housed in an ancient Ksar. Continue to Ghermassa between dirt tracks villages where you still live in a very traditional way and arrival in Chenini one of the most significant Berber villages built in the twelfth century. Return to Douiret to dine and sleep in traditional rooms created in the ancient Berber granaries. Gorfas
Day 6
Thursday
In the morning, after breakfast, free time to admire the village of Douiret and the wonderful panoramic view. Departure via dirt tracks until you reach the Sahara Oasis of Ksar Ghilane, famous for its hot thermal spring which creates a natural swimming pool in which to swim. Lunch in a Sahraian restaurant. Possibility to reach "Tisavar" the ancient Roman fort built by the emperor Commodus, surrounded by the orange dunes of the eastern erg, in quad or camel, or even on foot for those who love walking. Free time in the oasis dinner and overnight in a residence on the sand.
Day 7
Friday - Saturday
After the small breakfast departure from Ksar Ghilane to move into the depths of the Sahara desert, away from everything to enjoy breathtaking landscapes between expanses of sand, free dromedaries and with our 4x4 we will ride large and challenging sand dunes to experience a unforgettable adventure. Stop at the small museum of the Saharan National Park of Jbil where there are the important pairs of Oryx antelopes destined to the project of re-siting to the wild of this species declared extinct. Continuation, always via dunes and sand tracks, towards the sacred mountain of Tambaine, also called "the mountain that looks far". Our team of nomads will build the camp where to stay in full Sahara under billions of stars .. After having assigned the tents, and lit the fire, preparing bread cooked in the sand and meals typical of the desert tradition. Evening around the campfire and overnight at the camp. Scorpion V

The gulet Scoprion V, built at the Bodrum shipyards in 1994, is 22.50 meters long and 5.50 meters wide. Made entirely of mahogany and teak. It was restored in Olbia in 2014 where it was well finished, with attention to detail.

The gulet has 4 double cabins in the bow, and three aft, all with private bathroom and air conditioning. The gulet is equipped with a tender with an outboard engine, diving equipment. The scrupulous crew consists of 3 members to best meet your needs, an excellent cuisine with typical local dishes, based on freshly caught fish and lots of relaxation
