Sailing Cruise in South Sardinia
Sailing charter in Sardinia, one of the last paradises on earth!

Sailing cruise in South Sardinia is the ideal destination for those who are looking for fun, good food and uncontaminated spots that bring to mind the beauty of distant places such as the Caribbean or Patagonia. This portion of earth contains all the beauty of the Italian-Sardinian culture and Cagliari is a great starting point for our suggestive experience: from Nora to Capo Carbonara, from Cavoli island to Porto Giunco, Punta Molentis, Cala Pira, Villasimius Mari Pintao and Torre delle Stelle. Common denominator of each of these places is the white sand, white like diamond dust, which is the setting for an emerald sea. The Sardinian sea can be the star of a further trip, the diving and snorkeling, which will favor incredible paths between typical fish, anthias and red gorgonian fans. Sardinia South is one of the last paradises on earth!

Day 1
Boarding in Cagliari Saturday from 7 pm, we are waiting for you on the sailboat Premuda, moored at the Marina del Sole. We refresh, have a drink and stowed our bags, then we set off for a walk. We enjoy the sunset in Cagliari, and the nice seafront, then an delicious dinner at the restaurant.
Day 2
After an early breakfast on the outdoor deck in the cockpit, we are ready to set sail to the ancient city of Nora, archaeological site Phoenician-Punic-Roman and the beautiful bay between the Saracen towers. Diving, sun-bathing and snorkeling ... then before dinner a walk on the beach, a fresh milkshake or an aperitif and then our first dinner under the stars.
Day 3
Crossing of the Bay of Angels: da Punta Coltellazzo a Capo Carbonara, sailing with the Mistral among a small stretch that looks like open sea, the best for a sailor, a wonderful experience for a newcomer. Afternoon at anchor under the tower of Porto Giunco ... and from the beach you can also hike to the summit!
Day 4
We set sail to explore the mysterious cove of Punta Molentis, the bay of the two seas: here nothing is missing: a beautiful beach, a pebble shore, nice little beach, hidden rocks in the sea. .. perfect for snorkeling. After our afternoon siesta we set sail to reach Villasimius Marina for an evening dip in the city nightlife!
Day 5
En route to the east: welcomes us the amazing Cala Pira, a real Caribbean beach with a rich vegetation of palm trees and more! At the anchor we can enjoy our water games: the Glide, super floating mattress, and the Sup, the vacuum table with paddle, for solitary explorations, or in couples ... and even in 3! Aperitif on the beach and dinner with the stars.
Day 6
We lay at anchor in the bay of Isola dei Cavoli with its distinctive lighthouse and in the afternoon set sail to Torre delle Stelle.
Day 7
We set sail to Mari Pintao, the bay with the sea of a thousand colors, a last dive in the afternoon under the rocky wall of Sella del Diavolo, then we return to the marina in Cagliari for a party evening at the Fortress. Landing on Saturday morning at 9:00 am [The itinerary is subject to change depending on weather and sea conditions]
Premuda is a young boat, customized by us with great attention to detail

Premuda has a deck entirely in teak, a large, open cockpit that turns into a beautiful terrace on the sea in moments dedicated to meals, with a table, coated carbon mahogany, retractable for 8 persons, cushions in the seats and a large awning which creates a pleasant shaded area. It is equipped with 4 double cabins which means a maximum of 6 guests, skipper and hostess on 15-meter boat for a comfortable holiday for everyone.

For sailing enthusiasts it looks like a cutter, a battened mainsail running on a rail Harken, a bow in Genoa or one Yenky and an armed staysail on a textile stay Dyneema, just across the bow anchor a bowsprit aluminum weapon a well proportioned spinnaker.

For lovers of sun cushions sun-large stretch in the bow and amidships, which is rather rare in a sailboat ...

It is also equipped with lots of water games: Glide, super floating mattress for sunbathing; Sup, the vacuum table with paddle, for solitary explorations, or in couples or even in 3; fins, masks and snorkels for guests who do snorkeling and apnea; fishing equipment.

The tender is a Honwave raft of 3.20 m, stable and fast with a Honda engine with 10 hp to comfortably land on the ground if we anchor in the bay, or to reach small, secluded beaches, unapproachable both land and by boat. When we are through, we go down and climb easily from the walkway aft teak.

In airborne equipment, Bose specific wi-fi for iPhone ipod touch to listen to our and your favorite playlist, power generator to 220 volts to recharge phones, photos and cameras at all times, a Raymarine GPS mapping and a Geonav 7 wide, Raymarine radar, echo, SSB radio Barretts 980 DSC class E, WHF DCS Furuno, compressor cylinders ARA
In tanks 350 liters of diesel and 900 liters of water integrable thanks to the presence of a water maker on board, for a holiday with all the water needed!

Organizer tips
We always recommend to arrive at the boat with soft bags, easy to stow and to avoid trolleys.
Federica takes care of the galley and meal preparation: she prepares all breakfasts, all lunches and 4 dinners of 7. Usually we go out for dinner the first night and the night before landing, plus one to party in the amazing Villasimius village. Of course everyone is always free to go out to dinner even alone, if you wish to dine in the boat is not a requirement, just a pleasure! In the standard alcohol galley, 2 cases of beer are included, but prior to departure our guests buy aa much as wine and spirits they wish to consume during the sailing holiday. Our typical breakfasts is a sweet delicious Italian breakfast ... we don't fry in the early morning :)

Travelers reviews

If you want Heaven on earth – then this is for you! I have recently returned from a week sailing in South Sardinia on Premuda, skippered and hosted by Frederica & Massimo. It was a wonderful week, the destinations chosen were i dyllic, each location better then the last. The sea was warm, crystal clear, jewel like in colour and edged with white sandy beaches. The boat is very well equipped with SUP board, snorkels, fins, etc. and all the safety equipment was also present. What really made this a fantastic week was the hospitality and company on-board. Frederica & Massimo create a lovely welcoming atmosphere for everyone on-board. Conversation was really easy with the whole group, as they both speak excellent English and were able to assist me with translating, when needed. The food served was delicious and varied each day, beautiful fresh produce with delicious flavours. Finally, the whole process from start to finish – from signing up on the Intersailclub website, to selecting my trip, boarding the yacht, relaxing for a week to disembarking at the end of a great trip was hassle free. I really recommend Intersailclub, Sardinia but most especially Premuda and her Hostess and Skipper. Go on, select the trip – you won’t regret it. Enjoy. ... see more    see less
