The archipelago has been known since ancient times as the “Diomedee Islands.” The legend, in fact, dates back to the Homeric hero Diamede who with extraordinary strength and courage fled from Thrace, his native land, and landed on the Gargano coast to establish his new kingdom: Daunia. To pointing out the boundaries Diomedes made use of large boulders from his land. Three of these boulders were thrown into the sea and gave rise, in fact, the islands.
In less than 3 km2 and 20 km of coastal perimeter, the archipelago tremitese is an example of rare beauty: for the unspoiled nature of its waters, for its landscape and architectural and historical present mainly on the two largest islands: S. Domino and S. Nicola.

Itinerary
Day1
Tremiti Islands
Arrival between 5 and 6 pm to the Tremiti Islands, transfer on board the Gulet Freedom at 7 pm check in, and accommodation on board, welcome cocktail at 8 pm Captain’s briefing on safety rules and Regulations on board, introduction of the crew, of the staff Marlin Tremiti with illustration of the weekly activities. At 9 pm Dinner on board and free time chatting in the aft cockpit for socializing with new travel companions.
Day2
San Domino Island
Between 8 and 10 am Breakfast, at 10.30 am circumnavigation of the coast of the archipelago with an introduction to the geomorphological characteristics of the Tremiti Islands. 11.00 am stay in the bay for swimming and relaxing. At 1.30 pm lunch on board, 4.30 excursion in the marine caves of San Domino and stop in a cove of the island of San Domino – relaxing – bathing. At 8.30 pm dinner on board and free evening on the islands
Day3
Capraia Island
Between 8 and 10 am Breakfast, at 10.30 am Introduction to the Biology of Marine Reserve and the underwater world of the Tremiti Islands. At 11:00 Capraia Island - snorkeling with staff Marlin Tremiti at 1:30 Lunch on board at 4 pm Island of Capraia – stay in the cove for swimming and relaxation at 6:30 pm island of Capraia – excursion with the staff Marlin Tremiti, visit to the Lighthouse at 8:30 pm free night on the land to discover San Domino and its restaurants (first dinner not included in the price)

San Nicola Island
At 8.10 am Breakfast 10.30 am Introduction to the history and culture of the Tremiti Islands. At 11 am Island of San Nicola – stop at bay for swimming and relaxation, at 1.30 pm Lunch on board. At 3.30 pm Island of San Nicola – stay in a bay for swimming and relaxation at 6.30 pm Island of San Nicola – historical and cultural excursion with guide Marlin Tremiti at 8.30 pm dinner on board

Cretaccio Island
Between 8 and 10 am Breakfast, at 10.30 am introduction to the submerged history and archeology of the Tremiti Islands. 11.00 am Excursion to the discovery of marine archaeological sites at 1.30 pm lunch on board. At 4 pm Cretaccio Island – stay in the cove for swimming and relaxing. At 8.30 dinner on board and free night on the islands
Day6
Scuba Diving Day and last Day on boar
Between 8 and 10 am Breakfast. 10:30 am wide no stress sailing circumnavigation of the archipelago. At 1,30 pm lunch on board. 4 pm San Domino Island – stay at the “straws” for baths – relaxing. 6.30 pm introduction to scuba diving and opportunity to try a dive experience led by an instructor staff of Marlin Tremiti. 7 pm sundowner aperitif. 8,30 pm evening on the island with free dinner in local restaurants on the land (second dinner not included in the price, possibility of a typical group dinner at Cento Piedi, the famous fisherman of the Tremiti Islands)
Saturday - Cala Matana
Between 8 and 10 am Breakfast. 10.30 am San Domino Island, relaxing baths in Cala Matana and the Elephant Rock. 1:30 pm Lunch on board. 4 pm goodbye circumnavigation of the Tremiti islands. 6 pm stay in Cala Spido for transfer to the dock of Mole San Domino, ground handling, end of the cruise

Yacht - Gulet
The Turkish Gulet “Freedom” can comfortably welcome you with its generous spaces, is 32 meters long, 7.50 wide, has an area exposed to the sun for about 200 square meters on three levels, has a staircase to the descents in water and easy lifts from the water.
The interiors are air-conditioned in the sultry days and 10 cabins have private bathrooms. 2 living rooms have seating for all guests. She has a plasma TV 42 ” with decoder, DVD and with a good stereo system for listening to your music too. The rooms and furnishings are in a marine style, in colors of mahogany wood combined with white and blue. The Gulet is equipped with instrumentation and safety for travel anywhere in the Mediterranean Sea.
The Gulet was once a boat used for fishing and transportation of goods. In recent years this sturdy hull, built entirely of mahogany, has been used for cruises in the sign of comfort and relaxing moments. The turkish gulet is not an ordinary small boat, because of its size it is similar to mega yachts. Its robustness ensures a safe and comfortable navigation, with large outdoor sundeck. It mainly navigate on engine with a cruising speed approximately of 7/10 knots, but in the presence of bearing breezes can sailing with the stern wind.
Designers in fact, have focused more on comfort and safety, for theis reason the Gulet is also suitable for those who do not have a ” sea foot “, inclined to prefer sweet sailing with calm seas and a stability and seaworthiness without risk.
These Yachts have a minimum 3-person crew: the commander, who leads the boat trips ensuring the safety of the guests, the cook, busy preparing the meals, one or two sailors appointed to provide assistance to guests and the cleaning of the boat.

What to take on board?
Remember to bring a soft bag or backpack, suitcase, once you have arranged the contents, will be left on the ground in a storage at MARLINTREMITI.
For the Navigation-Boating is barefoot or wearing shoes with clear rubber soles to be used only on board (like Superga) – A pair of shorts – A pair of long pants, – Two shirts; – A pullover – an heavy sweater – Two pairs of socks – Two changes of underwear; For your diving-personal equipment except tank, weights and belt, For the Sun – Two swimsuits – Sunscreens of various degrees of protection (attention to Oil, it stains the wood of the bridge), – after-sun creams, – beach towel to lie down; – Sunglasses – Caplet with visor; In case of bad weather -wool Cap; – lightweight waterproof jacket or oilskin, To sleep – Pajamas , t-shirt or sweat suit at your discretion and according to your habits; for the Personal Care-Soap and / or detergent as usual – a large towel – A small towel; For Personal Health-daily use medicines (grant the continuity of your eventual care) – uncommon medicine for emergencies to which you are subject (the pharmacy of the Tremiti might not have them); To land-One pair of shoes to be used only on the ground; Furthermore do not forget your camera and a good book, excellent companion to enjoy the moments of silence during a break in some drops.
