The cruise departs from Marina Trogir, a short drive from Split Airport, and follows a circular route south through the central Dalmatian archipelago, covering the islands of Šolta, Brač, Hvar and Vis before returning north at the end of the week. Daily sailing legs run between fifteen and twenty-five nautical miles, with a midday anchorage for swimming and lunch on board at the center of each day.
Navigation is handled entirely by a professional skipper, leaving guests free to relax, watch the coast go by or take part in sailing at their own level. The skipper adapts the route each day to wind, sea state and the mood of the group, which means no two weeks on this itinerary look exactly alike. A host on board manages breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks throughout the day, while dinner is normally taken ashore in small harbors at family-run restaurants the crew has worked with for years.
The islands along the route carry distinct characters. Šolta opens the week with a quiet pine-framed inlet at Maslinica, well suited to a first easy day of sailing and a relaxed evening ashore. Brač offers anchorages along its western coast, including Lučice and Milna, before the route turns south toward Hvar. The Pakleni Islands, just offshore from Hvar Town, provide one of the most celebrated swim-stop anchorages in Croatia before the most social evening of the week in Hvar's harbor.
Vis stands apart from the rest, the most remote of the central Dalmatian islands, historically closed to foreign visitors until 1989. The Blue Cave on the neighboring island of Biševo is one of the most visually striking natural sites in the Adriatic, reached by tender in the morning before the boat moves on to Stiniva, the UNESCO-listed cove whose narrow clifftop entrance opens onto a hidden pebble beach. Komiža, on the western side of Vis, is consistently described as one of the most beautiful fishing harbors in Croatia.
Days settle into a natural rhythm quickly, an early morning swim as the host prepares breakfast, a late morning sailing leg, a lunch stop at anchor in clear water, an afternoon arrival and an evening spent in a harbor village with a dinner just off the quay.

Day1
Boarding in Trogir
Guests arrive at Split Airport and transfer to Marina Trogir, around ten minutes by car. Welcome on board at 5pm with a safety briefing and route walkthrough. The first evening is spent in the marina with dinner ashore in Trogir's UNESCO-listed old town, just five minutes on foot from the berth.
Day2
Trogir to Maslinica, Šolta
An easy first sailing leg of around twelve nautical miles leads to the western tip of Šolta, with a lunch and swim stop in Šešula Bay before the afternoon arrival in Maslinica. The evening is quiet, with a choice of family-run konobas along the waterfront.
Day3
Maslinica to Bobovišća or Milna, Brač
A short hop of around ten nautical miles crosses to the western coast of Brač, with a lunch stop at anchor in Lučice or Smrka. The evening is spent in Milna or the smaller Bobovišća, with a walk to the lighthouse and a classic Dalmatian dinner ashore.
Day4
Brač to Hvar Town
Around eighteen to twenty nautical miles south toward Hvar, with a lunch stop at the Pakleni Islands in Palmižana or Vinogradišće Bay. Arrival in Hvar Town in the afternoon for the liveliest evening of the week, with waterfront restaurants, wine bars and the old fortress above the harbor.
Day5
Hvar to Vis Town
An open water crossing of around twenty-two nautical miles to Vis, with an anchorage for lunch at Sv. Klement or Budikovac along the way. A quiet evening in Vis Town, with a walk through the town's military history and dinner at a vineyard-to-table restaurant.
Day6
Vis to the Blue Cave and Komiža
A morning tender transfer to the Blue Cave on the neighboring island of Biševo, followed by lunch and a swim at Stiniva Bay, the UNESCO-listed cove whose hidden pebble beach is most naturally reached from the water. The evening is spent in Komiža harbor, with fresh fish from the day's catch at one of the waterfront restaurants.
Day7
Return to Trogir and Disembarkation
A longer return leg of around twenty-five nautical miles heads north from Vis or Komiža, with a lunch stop at Lučice or Sv. Nikola Bay and a farewell dinner ashore in a quiet bay before the last night on board. The following morning, an early sail back to Marina Trogir of around fifteen nautical miles brings the week to a close, with disembarkation by 9am.

The Excess 11 is a compact catamaran that sails noticeably better than its size suggests, with a layout that makes the most of every square meter through a dual helm design that opens the entire aft area into a single connected living space.
The Excess 11 is a 11.33 meter catamaran designed by VPLP with interior styling by Nauta Design, built to deliver a genuine sailing experience without sacrificing the onboard comfort that makes a week at sea feel easy rather than demanding. The most immediately practical feature is the twin aft helm configuration: the two helm stations are positioned outboard on either side of the cockpit, which leaves the entire central area of the stern free and creates a seamless connection between the cockpit, the saloon and the water. This one-level living approach means the boat feels considerably more open than its length implies.
The cockpit is the social center of the boat, with a table capable of seating the full group for meals, direct access down to the water from the stern steps and easy movement between the deck and the saloon through wide openings. The forward trampolines add additional outdoor space for relaxing at anchor or watching the water during a passage. The saloon is modest in size, as expected on a 37-foot catamaran, but well organized, with a galley suited to real cooking and a chart table that keeps navigation separate from the living area.
Below deck, the Excess 11 is available in three or four cabin configurations. The four-cabin version used by the operator accommodates up to nine guests including the skipper, with two double cabins in each hull and a shared bathroom per hull. Cabins are compact but practical, with opening skylights and large elongated portlights that bring in natural light and ventilation. The boat sails well in the light to moderate conditions typical of the Ionian Sea in summer, reaching comfortable passage speeds that make the daily distances between islands feel relaxed rather than rushed.
