This sailing itinerary starts and ends in Porto Pollo, one of the best departure points for exploring Northern Sardinia and the Strait of Bonifacio. The route combines the protected waters of the La Maddalena Archipelago with the wild southern coastline of Corsica, creating a balanced navigation itinerary suitable for both experienced sailors and relaxed cruising holidays.
The navigation is mainly coastal, with short to medium sailing legs between islands, allowing time for swimming stops, walks ashore and evenings at anchor in sheltered bays. Day1
Porto Pollo to Spargi
Embarkation begins in the afternoon in Porto Pollo. After boarding and settling into the cabins, the crew briefing introduces the navigation plan and onboard life for the week.
Depending on arrival time and weather conditions, the yacht departs for a short afternoon navigation toward the island of Spargi. The first evening is usually spent at anchor in one of the island’s protected bays, surrounded by granite formations and clear shallow water ideal for a first swim before dinner onboard.
Day2
Spargi to Budelli to Santa Maria
After breakfast, the itinerary continues through the central islands of the archipelago. A morning sail leads toward the famous waters surrounding Budelli, known for its transparent sea and protected natural environment.
The yacht stops for swimming and relaxing near the natural pools before continuing toward Santa Maria. The area offers calm anchorages and quiet beaches accessible directly from the yacht. The evening is spent at anchor under the stars or, depending on conditions, in a nearby harbour.

Santa Maria to Bonifacio
The route heads north across the Strait of Bonifacio toward Bonifacio. This navigation is one of the highlights of the itinerary, with impressive limestone cliffs becoming visible long before entering the harbour.
After lunch and a swim stop along the coast, the yacht enters Bonifacio through its narrow natural fjord. Guests can spend the evening exploring the old citadel, small restaurants and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the sea.
Day4
Bonifacio to Lavezzi Islands to Cavallo
Leaving Bonifacio behind, the itinerary continues toward the protected waters of the Lavezzi Islands. The islands are characterized by smooth granite rocks, isolated coves and exceptional swimming conditions.
The afternoon is dedicated to slow navigation and relaxed anchorages between Lavezzi and Cavallo. Snorkelling, paddle boarding and swimming are common activities in this area thanks to the calm and transparent water.

Cavallo to La Maddalena
The yacht sails back toward Sardinia, entering once again the waters of the La Maddalena Archipelago. The navigation passes between smaller islands and hidden coves before reaching La Maddalena.
The town offers a lively marina atmosphere, waterfront cafés and traditional Sardinian streets to explore during the evening. Guests may choose to dine ashore or enjoy dinner onboard in the harbour.
Day6
La Maddalena to Caprera
A short navigation leads toward Caprera, one of the greenest islands in the archipelago. The coastline alternates rocky inlets and beaches accessible only by sea.
The day is dedicated to relaxed sailing, swimming stops and time at anchor in protected bays such as Cala Coticcio or Cala Napoletana, depending on weather conditions and seasonal regulations. The final evening onboard is usually spent in a calm anchorage surrounded by nature.
Day7
Caprera to Porto Pollo
After breakfast, the yacht begins the final navigation back toward Porto Pollo. The return sail offers final views across the islands and the northern Sardinian coastline. Arrival is scheduled during the afternoon, followed by disembarkation and end of services.
